Kitty the Athlete

Kitty is one of the most athletic bulldogs I have seen. She is a master at water volleyball, so loves to fetch, swim (with proper floatation device) and run. On my recent trip to my mom's house, I got to spend some time in the pool with Kitty. When we first went out to swim, we locked her outside the gate. She insisted upon coming in with us. She runs over to the pool step and waits to be geared up. Once her floatation device is securely in place she takes off for a few laps around the pool. Then its back to the step where she waits for a floaty that she can stand on for a volley ball game. We always make sure that someone is nearby and holding the floaty. Kitty is very competitive and sometimes in her launch for the ball she overshoots the mat and has to be saved. She has very good aim and is often able to accomplish several successful volleys. She is pretty impressive for an eight month old and hopefully she will have a long successful career.

Puppies Coming Soon and Congrats to Sway and Marsha

Puppies will be here tomorrow! We are so excited. Lulu is miserable. Mom has everything ready to bring the babies home. Hopefully, we will have some puppy pics up on the site tomorrow. I got to visit with Lulu and Miss Kitty about 3 weeks ago. Kitty is looking very nice. She has a beautiful head and a wonderful attitude. She loves to play in her little pool. She is very spoiled and loves to be held and give kisses. Her and my dobe, Cinders, don't get along. Kitty insists that it is her house and she is the boss and Cinders does not agree. Congratulations to Marsha and Sway. Sway went RWB in Omaha on July 11th owner handled. There were 7 bitches entered so this was a nice accomplishment for a 6 ½ month old. I am very proud of my girl!

Bella and the Pool

Here is an email I recieved from Bella's mama- "Bella is doing great and she is such a cuddle bug. We crack up when she gets excited her whole body wiggles. Her teeth sticking out cracks us up...how can anyone not love a bulldog????? We had had her in the pool a couple of times under strict supervision. We have a baha shelf that is about 6" deep that she stands on. She is also able to get out on her own. I am still watching her all the time when she is out back alone to see what she does around the pool. She ignores it unless the kids leave something floating in it. House training is great unless someone rings the door bell and comes in. Then we have an accident. She can go for 10 hours a night thought without any potty breaks. She is truly a joy and makes us laugh daily. She has a bond with our son where she tugs on his shorts until they are around his ankles. He runs an screams and she goes into her "savage" mode. I need to get it on tape as it is hilarious. I am not sure who is having more fun Bella or William???? Hope you are enjoying your summer, Andrea "

Maverick and Sway go to their first Real Show

Maverick

Here is an email I got from Linda:

"Hi,Just a note to let you know how the boy is doing.Maverick was entered in the Vermillion show this past weekend, he came up with second, both days the judges like him and they both said he is a very nice puppy, but they had to give it to the other dog because he looked more mature, and he was. He was almost nine months old and Maverick was six months and five days old so there was a big difference, but Maverick likes to show and he thinks everyone at the show is there for him. He is quite the guy."

Sway

"She is doing great! She didn't win at her and Mavericks first real sanctioned show last weekend, but the judge really liked her. We show July 11th and 12th in Omaha. I will let you know how she does."- Marsha

Kitty

Mom says Kitty is doing great. She loves to play in the kiddie pool and chill out near the pool.

Bella

Bella is doing good. She has been enjoying the California sun.

Kitty Report

Kitty is a mess but I love her to death. She is a great addition to the family. She has had only two messes on the floor this week and she knew she was bad. I put bells on the door knob and she rings it to go outside and to come in. It is working real well. She has gotten so big that we are having to make her larger stairs so she can get on and off the bed by herself.

Miss Kitty and Sway

I heard back from mom and Kitty is doing well. Mom says that she knows her name well and she sits on command. She is house trained and mom has a little ladder that she uses to get up on the bed at night. There she sleeps on mom's pillow.

Sway (right) is also doing really well. She is ornery! She gets to go play with Maverick sometimes and will enter her first match next week!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

I am so happy that all my little bully babies are doing well. I have had multiple reports and the babies are ranging between 14lbs and 22 lbs right now. Maverick (the only boy) is gearing up to go to his first match in a month or so. Kitty is keeping my mom busy and turning into a really nice dog.

Sway is doing good in Iowa and working on growing into a nice show dog. Molly has an unfortunate nickname that tells us which side of the weight scale she is on! LOL!
